Overview

Kibeho is a small town in South-Western Rwanda that is known as a “Holy Land” because of the Marian apparitions that took place there in 1981. The apparitions were seen by three young girls and they are believed to have been a message of peace and hope for the people of Rwanda and beyond.

This tour gives you an opportunity to explore Kibeho and learn about its history and significance to the Catholic Faithful and other communities at large. You will visit sites such as the Basilica of ‘Our Lady of Sorrow’, the shrine of ‘Our Lady of Kibeho’, the statue of ‘the Lady of Kibeho’, and Nyarushishi Hill. You will also have the opportunity to meet with local people and learn about their experiences with the apparitions. This tour is a great way to learn about the history, culture, and religion of Rwanda. It is also a great way to experience the beauty of Rwanda’s countryside.
