About the Kibale National Park

Located in south-western Uganda, Kibale National Park is a lush and vibrant rainforest that is home to a rich diversity of primates. It is particularly known for its population of chimpanzees. The park offers chimpanzee viewing opportunities where visitors can observe these iconic creatures in their natural habitat. Apart from chimpanzees, Kibale National Park is also home to other primates such as Colobus and Marmoset Monkeys. Forest Nature Walks, Bird watching and exploring the Bigodi Wetland are among the activities that allow visitors to fully appreciate the biodiversity of the park.
