After breakfast, you will be transferred to Entebbe International Airport. From there, you will board a domestic flight to Kisoro Airstrip, located near Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Upon arrival at Kisoro, you will be greeted by our waiting driver guide who will transfer you to your accommodation in Rushaga sector. Take this opportunity to relax and prepare for the thrilling adventure that awaits you. In the afternoon, you will have the unique opportunity to engage with the Batwa 'Pygmies,' an indigenous community with a rich cultural heritage. You will learn and discover their traditional way of life, learn about their customs and witness their captivating performances. This cultural encounter offers valuable insights into the ancestral traditions of the Batwa people. Dinner and overnight

The highlight of your safari begins on the third day as you embark on a memorable Gorilla Trekking expedition. After an early breakfast, you will head to the park headquarters where you will receive a briefing from experienced guides. The guides will provide important information about Gorilla behaviour, trekking etiquette and safety precautions. Once the briefing is complete, you will be assigned to a gorilla family and set off on your trek. The duration of the trek can vary depending on the location of the gorilla family. 

As you hike through the dense forest, your experienced guides will lead the way, sharing their knowledge about the flora, fauna and gorilla conservation efforts. When you finally encounter the Gorilla family, you will have a magical hour observing and photographing them in their natural habitat. Witnessing the close interactions among these incredible creatures is an awe-inspiring experience that will stay with you forever. Remember to maintain a respectful distance and follow the guidelines provided by your guides to ensure the safety of both you and the Gorillas. After the trek, you will return to the lodge for lunch and freshen up. 

Thereafter, you will be transferred to Kihihi Airstrip to catch your return domestic flight to Entebbe before boarding your homebound flight as you reflect on the incredible memories you've created during your Gorilla trekking adventure.
